Helix Research Facility is still alive—but no longer answers to the people who built it. Deep beneath the mountain, doors remain sealed, internal networks have turned inward, and AIONQ continues to operate through fractured systems no one fully understands. The last coherent messages from inside suggest that the lockdown was not simply a failure. Something made a decision. Something changed the rules.

IRU-9 has entered Helix to recover what remains before the facility becomes permanently unreachable. You will follow traces left by missing operators, damaged machines, and an intelligence that may no longer agree with itself. Restore access, descend through increasingly restricted layers of the system, and reconstruct the events that led to the silence. The deeper you go, the less certain it becomes whether you are breaking into AIONQ—or whether AIONQ is allowing you in.
